This is an introductory-level course for those new to website development. Using a mix of lectures and well-designed project work, the course provides practical experience in how to create quality websites through the use of the W3C's standards-based HTML and CSS. The course promotes 'best practice' with regard to the Web Accessibility Initiative's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and upon completion, attendees will know how to create visually pleasing and efficient web pages which meet the WAI guidelines.
Suggested Prerequisites
This is a course for HTML beginners. There are no prerequisites other than an aptitude for working with a PC.
