A Foundation in SQL for IBM DB2

Course Description ( ISQ-77: a 3 day course )

This is a course for IBM DB2 database developers or users who need to manipulate data by interacting with IBM DB2 relational databases using Structured Query Language (SQL) and who need to progress their SQL skills beyond the basics. It is aimed at those who need to extract data from, and insert data into, existing IBM DB2 databases to an in-depth level and who also need to create and modify IBM DB2 databases and tables. The course is highly practical in nature and the focus throughout is on coding IBM DB2-based SQL by hand. On completion, a comprehensive set of course notes, examples, tutor and attendee scripts are provided on a free USB pen drive to take away.

Suggested Prerequisites

No prior SQL, IBM DB2 or relational database experience is assumed. However, while the course is for those with little or no experience of working with SQL or IBM DB2, it is a course for IT Professionals.
