Course Description ( LXM-03: a 3 day course )

A highly practical starter training course for developers who will be both transforming XML data with XSLT, and creating XML data models with XML Schema. It creates a sound understanding of the XML data format, working with namespaces, using XPath to extract data from XML trees and gives an essential kick start to working with both XSLT and Schema documents.

Suggested Prerequisites

No previous XML experience is assumed. Those with some background in programming/scripting (any language) and/or relational database work would best assimilate the concepts presented. On completion, a comprehensive set of course notes, examples, tutor and attendee scripts are provided on a free USB pen drive to take away.

About the Pricing

• The price you see is the price you pay.

• We are able to deliver most courses at either your venue or ours (anywhere in the UK).
• For courses at your venue, included in the price, we supply ThinkPad laptops (one per attendee) already setup for the course.
• You may choose the dates to suit your organisation.

• The price for 2 to 8 attendees is £995.00 + vat per day (the total price per day).
• This is a 3 day course.
• The total charge for 2 to 8 attendees on the course is therefore: £2985.00 + vat.
• For 8 attendees, the total 'per attendee' price would be around: £374.00 + vat.

1-to-1 Pricing

• The special one-to-one price for this course is £795.00 + vat per day.
• This is a 3 day course.
• The total one-to-one charge for the course is therefore: £2385.00 + vat.
